Easel heights are quoted fully extended. A stand described as 66 inches is 66 inches with the legs out, and considerably less packed. Where a stand is adjustable, the listing gives the range rather than just the maximum, because a 17-to-66-inch tripod is a different object from a fixed one.

A stretched canvas is light. A framed mirror or a foam-board sign is not. Where the manufacturer publishes a weight rating we list it, and we say when a stand is intended for signage rather than for painting.
